Can it be that easy?

I've been searching the internet for online money making sources, and all I seem to find are these sites that say MAKE MONEY DOING ONLINE SURVEYS,  GET PAYED TO CLICK. Can it really be that easy. If so why are there any people I know doing this.  I know a lot and I mean a lot of people that are online looking for ways to make money. They all want a starter fee, and that my friends is the catch.
